Empty Office Space

The COLLECTIVE festival has been described by 10 Magazine as «all about being challenged, provoked, and pleasantly surprised», and has managed to become a pioneering arena and an important measure for art in Norway with more than 23.000 visitors and a digital reach of 7 million people, whilst the live stream from the 2017 talks reached 2000 people per talk through Facebook.

In a collaboration with Aker Brygge we placed exhibitions in empty office spaces, street level and in restaurants. In an empty office space consisting of 1000 m2 we launched a group exhibition with 8 inspiring artists Guttestreker, Christian Husan & Julian Karlsen, Jennifer Tzar, Søster Studio, Merilin Kolk, Sling and Cara Lien. Interactive screen art, projections on live size mannequin dolls and painted sheets, graffiti, “trash art”, clothing, photography and paintings showed the unique minds behind the Oslo and New York youth underground culture.
